As an eye shadow: The best brush to use is a very soft, natural bristle eyeshadow brush. Angled for shading and straight for general application.

With the jar lid on, tip the jar upside down, then back the right way again. This releases some powder onto the sifter.

Take the lid off and lightly dip the tips of the bristle into the powder to pick up some pigment.

Gently tap off excess color on edge of the jar.

Gently sweep the brush tips where you wish to apply, in an even sweeping motion. For a more intense color, repeat until desired look is acheived.
